Back in April 2010, 4 hire taxi launched ‘Solo Private Hire’. The aim was to provide the people of Tavistock and its surrounding areas with an alternative option when travelling alone. With its cheaper fare structure and eco-friendly credentials, ‘solo’ has become an instant hit.
The limited edition range of ‘SMART CAR’ Solo taxis are surprisingly roomy, we are able to carry passengers with folded wheelchairs, walking frames and shopping trolleys. We have also transported our partially sighted passengers and their guide dogs!
Service available Monday – Friday 8am – 5.30pm
